Navajo Reporter, Volume 8

Supreme Court Opinions 2000-2005

The Supreme Court of the Navajo Nation announces the publication of the Navajo Reporter, Volume 8.  It is the first volume to contain extensive supplementary material.

The volume contains fully indexed and digested 2000-2005 opinions of the Supreme Court and selected District and Family Court decisions, with header material including case synopses and Research Points developed by the editor/publisher OWC Press.  OWC Press also publishes the Muskoke Law Reporter.

Also in the volume are appendices and prefatory materials to facilitate research, including an introduction, quotes on the Diné Fundamental Law (Diné bi beenahaz’áanii) from Supreme Court cases, a glossary, a history of the development of the courts, an appendix highlighting Research Points relevant to Diné bi beenahaz’áanii, and the text and Council resolution of Diné bi beenahaz’áanii.

Volume 8 is priced for affordability at $50 for a hardbound copy.  Prior volumes may also be purchased.  The price does not include the Navajo Nation sales tax of four percent (4%) or shipping and handling fees.
